The polyurethane abrasive wheels are produced with both silicon carbide and aluminium oxide abrasive grains bonded in a polyurethane foam.
They are used on a wide range of woods, MDF and various types of paints.
Appropriately shaped, polyurethane wheels are useful in many applications for buffing of paints, lacquers, fillers, chalks and sealers applied to mouldings and profiles.
The solution to every type of sanding is the combination of different abrasive wheels of different material and grit. Working in the same profile segment: the first one for rough cutting and the second one for smooth finishing.
These wheels are easily shaped, and they maintain their shape on sharp segments due to their compact structure.

They are used on all types of woods or veneer wrapped profiles (chestnut, oak, ramin, cherry, beech, ayous, ash, walnut, samba, birch, pine, spruce, douglas pine, mahogany),and all sorts of MDF.

These wheels can be used individually or in combination with different grits and/or in combination with flap wheels for buffing operations on painted profiles such as:
